03/27/2025, 10:50The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has extended the authorisation for the export of dilapidated cash US dollars and banknotes issued before 2006. According to the Resolution of the Board of 19 March 2024, commercial banks will be able to carry out such operation until 1 September 2025.
The removal will be carried out in exchange for new cash US dollars or their non-cash equivalent.
This decision is aimed at renewing the turnover of cash currency in the country and reducing the volume of old notes in circulation.
