03/21/2025, 13:48In January-February 2025, 1 thousand 363 individual residential houses with a total area of 183 thousand square metres were commissioned in Kyrgyzstan, which is 92.1% of the level of January-February 2024.Such data was presented by the National Statistics Committee.
KGS 5.2 billion was invested in the construction of these houses, which is 5.3% less than in the same period in 2024. Of all investments in the construction sector, 34.3% was directed to individual housing construction (in January-February 2024 this indicator was 41%).
Most of the new housing was built in Jalal-Abad, Chui and Osh oblasts, as well as in Bishkek city - 74.5% of the total volume.
In rural areas, 104 thousand square metres of housing were built, which is 56.8% of the total volume of input.
