07/19/2025, 18:00Kyrgyzstan is strengthening cooperation with the global expert platform Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) to promote the Sustainable Development Goals.
As part of his participation in the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov met with SDSN Vice President for Education Professor Patrick Walsh and New York Secretariat Director Anna Morat.
The meeting discussed prospects for joint work to improve national systems for monitoring and evaluating progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Particular attention was paid to methodologies for measuring sustainable development, including the use of the SDG Index developed by SDSN as an international analysis tool.
Kyrgyzstan expressed interest in deepening its partnership with SDSN to enhance analytical and institutional capacity in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. An agreement was reached to continue consultations and jointly develop key areas of cooperation in the field of sustainable development.
