Kyrgyzelektronika to supply PC cases for Sberbank project

The Eurasian Economic Commission Council has approved a new cooperative project for the production of personal computer system units involving companies from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Belarus. The project will receive a subsidy from the EAEU budget as part of the industrial cooperation support mechanism.

The applicant is Sberbank (Russia), and the implementer is the Russian company Beshtau Electronics. The Kyrgyz company Kyrgyzelektronika is included in the project and will supply metal cases for system units.

According to the documentation, the Kyrgyz company is to supply 175,000 cases by 2030, with expected revenues of 416.5 million rubles.

The project is designed in several stages, namely the preparatory period from the first quarter of 2026 to the first quarter of 2027, the launch of two production lines, and reaching full capacity in the second quarter of 2028.

The EAEU subsidy will amount to 222.2 million rubles, which will reduce the project's interest rate from 23% to 6.5%, taking into account the Bank of Russia's key rate. This significantly reduces the cost of borrowed funds and increases the economic efficiency of production.

The mechanism for financing EAEU cooperation projects came into effect in 2023. It provides for subsidizing interest rates on loans and borrowings for enterprises in member countries and is aimed at developing cooperation and import substitution within the union.
