New electric buses will start operating in the city on 25 September

The first new electric buses will hit the streets on 25 September 2025. In the first phase, they will run on routes 4, 10 and 11.

Within the next week, it is planned to launch electric buses on three more routes: No. 14, No. 66 and No. 33. Routes No. 66 and No. 33 will be completely new, and route No. 11 will have an updated schedule, replacing the previous trolleybus service with modern, environmentally friendly transport.

As a reminder, 120 electric buses were delivered from the People's Republic of China to Kyrgyzstan at the beginning of this year. To service them, the former trolleybus depot underwent a complete renovation and now operates as DEPO-1 and DEPO-2, equipped with everything necessary for the operation of electric transport.
