Kyrgyzstan and Marubeni discussed prospects for joint projects in the field of climate sustainability

Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sanjar Bolotov held a meeting with a delegation from the Japanese corporation Marubeni Corporation. During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate sustainability.

At the meeting with General Manager of the representative office in Astana Shinozaki Ippei and Senior Commercial Manager for the Middle East and Africa Mizuki Saito, special attention was paid to models of cooperation and implementation of climate initiatives.

The event was held in an expanded format with the participation of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the National Investment Agency, the Green Energy Fund, and the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture.

The parties agreed to continue technical consultations and identify pilot projects for further implementation.
