During an interview, the country's president, Sadyr Zhaparov, suggested that nominating several candidates from a district would be possible, but it would require an increase in the amount of the contribution.
‘If parties nominate three candidates from each district, it will be acceptable. However, in that case, the amount of contribution that candidates have to make will increase significantly. The current draft of the bill sets the deposit at 100 thousand soms for each candidate. If parties nominate three candidates from a district, the amount of deposit will increase up to 9 million soms,’ said Sadyr Zhaparov.
