04/10/2025, 17:25In 2024, the Road Fund of Kyrgyzstan received almost 6 billion KGS, and this year they plan to collect about 7.5-8 billion KGS more. These figures were announced by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on 10 April.
On the agenda was a bill to improve the use of the Road Fund.
The purpose of the changes is to make the fund's work more transparent and efficient. For example, all money will be allocated only for road construction, repair and reconstruction. The proposed amendments will also help avoid misuse of funds and improve the quality of road works.
