03/12/2025, 17:37Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov met with representatives of China's cross-border commodity trading platform. The platform, which operates in 25 countries, provides innovative solutions for online processing of commodity data and transactions, integrating with import and export channels and providing digital services for international trade.
The meeting discussed the possibility of adapting the platform to Kyrgyzstan's trade processes, which could simplify export-import operations for local businesses. They also touched upon the issues of digitalisation of trade, transparency of transactions and increasing the competitiveness of Kyrgyz products in international markets.
The Chinese side proposed to build a trade and logistics centre with environmentally friendly technologies, including solar panels for energy supply. The parties agreed to continue discussing co-operation formats and steps to integrate the platform into the Kyrgyz economy.
