Kyrgyzstan has launched an audit of the civil service system to de-bureaucratise it

Kyrgyzstan will start conducting audit-consultations with government agencies and the business community. The aim is to identify redundant bureaucratic procedures and develop mechanisms to simplify them. This was discussed at a press briefing on the de-bureaucratisation of the civil service system of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to Azamat Kadyraliev, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Department for Preparation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers, the process of debureaucratisation is personally controlled by the leadership of the Cabinet of Ministers. It is expected that the first comprehensive decisions on reform will be presented as early as 26 March, including more than 30 draft regulations and systematic instructions.

Particular emphasis is placed on simplifying interdepartmental interaction, as well as abandoning outdated administrative functions that hinder the efficiency of the civil service.
