In the first quarter of 2025, microcredit institutions in Kyrgyzstan issued loans worth about KGS 19 billion and served more than 340,000 borrowers, according to the National Bank. This is 30.5% more than in the same period last year. The total amount of funds disbursed also increased by 39%.

The Council of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund summarized the results of 2023 and the first half of 2024 and approved key strategic decisions. The RKDF financed a record number of projects worth $160 million in 2023, and in the first nine months of 2024 invested more than $100 million in the Kyrgyz economy. By the end of the year, it is planned to increase this amount to $140 million.
