The flight map is expanding! What new air routes Kyrgyzstan will open in 2024

In 2024, new destinations have been added to the air map of Kyrgyzstan. This is an important step towards making travel more convenient and the country more accessible for both tourists and locals. “Akchabar” has collected a list of air destinations that were opened in the past year.

January

Beijing - Bishkek - Beijing

On January 25, there was a grand opening of the Beijing - Bishkek - Beijing flight, which is operated by the Chinese airline China Southern Airlines on Airbus A320neo aircraft. The flights are operated three times a week, which contributes to the development of tourism, trade and technology exchange between China and Kyrgyzstan.

April

Moscow - Osh
Russian airline Pobeda launched flights on the Moscow - Osh route. The first one on April 27 was welcomed with a water arch. The flights are operated daily, 7 times a week, and already 180 passengers arrived on the first flight.

June

Almaty - Issyk-Kul - Almaty

On June 28, Qazaq Air started flights from Almaty to Issyk-Kul International Airport. Flights on Bombardier Q400 NextGen airplanes are carried out twice a week: on Mondays and Fridays. Travel time from Almaty is only 35 minutes, which makes this route especially convenient for tourists.

Tashkent - Issyk-Kul - Tashkent
June 16, Uzbek airline Silk Avia opened flights on the route Tashkent - Issyk-Kul - Tashkent. The flights are operated three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The flight time is two hours. It is planned to increase the frequency of flights in the future.

September

Osh - New Delhi - Osh

On September 25, the first international charter flight Osh - New Delhi - Osh was launched. The flights are operated once a week, on Tuesdays, in order to strengthen economic and diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and India.
Bishkek - Osh

September 27 was a special day for the team of Asman Airlines - the first passenger flight of the airline on the route Bishkek - Osh took place. This event was the result of long and painstaking work to launch the airline.

December

Bishkek - Karakol

On December 8, the first technical flight to the new airport of Karakol was performed. And already on December 11, the long-awaited opening of the airport took place with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov. On December 19, the first commercial flights began.
