IT Lab for Kyrgyz Economic University to be created with Indian investment

A new IT laboratory will be established in Kyrgyzstan with grant support from India. On November 17, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of External Affairs of India, and the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a memorandum on the implementation of the project at the Kyrgyz Economic University in Bishkek.

The Indian side will allocate 126.6 million KGS for laboratory equipment and infrastructure improvements. It is planned that the new center will become a platform for training specialists in the field of information technology and will expand opportunities for students to gain practical experience.

The project is seen as an important step in the development of the country's educational and digital environment, as well as in strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and India in the field of technology and innovation.
