10/29/2024, 12:2734 citizens in Kyrgyzstan have received interest-free loans as part of the social assistance programme. According to the Ministry of Labour, the programme aims to support people who have entered into social contracts to expand and maintain a business or subsidiary farm using previously received funds.
Participants who have demonstrated successful business activity for at least six months may qualify for the programme and receive a loan. The size of the interest-free loan is up to 200,000 KGS, and its repayment period is up to three years.
Borrowers receive a grace period of three months, during which there is no need for repayment, after which monthly repayments are established in equal instalments. Participation in the programme is not limited to a particular field of activity, and everyone can apply to the OJSC "Aiyl Bank" or OJSC "Eldik Bank" for a loan.
The programme provides citizens with a unique opportunity to further develop their business initiatives following approved business plans.
