10/04/2024, 12:18Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov spoke at the 31st meeting of the Coordinating Council of Heads of Tax Services of the CIS countries, which is being held in Bishkek.
In his address, Zhaparov emphasised the importance of the event's current subject.
‘Digital solutions in VAT management to ensure transparency of payments and simplify their return’. He noted that in the context of global digital transformation, the introduction of technology plays a key role in improving tax administration, increases its efficiency and opens new opportunities for improving processes,’ he said.
Zhaparov spoke about Kyrgyzstan's significant successes in the tax procedure digitalisation, which has doubled state budget revenues and improved the quality of service to taxpayers.
One important achievement has been successfully countering the shadow economy, which, according to Zhaparov, can be a useful experience for the tax services of friendly countries.
