10/23/2024, 12:14Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov has visited the Bishkek CHPP to personally assess the condition and functioning of one of the main energy facilities of the country.
Zhaparov was accompanied by Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev, and relevant agencies' representatives. During the visit, several heat and power centre key facilities were inspected.
It is worth noting that TVEA Company has completed a significant overhaul of two units of the plant. Akylbek Zhaparov emphasised the importance of the Bishkek CHPP, which provides electricity and heat to most of the Kyrgyz capital and instructed to strengthen control over the operation of energy facilities and ongoing repair work.
Within the meeting with the relevant structures, the topical issues of connecting residential houses, and social and other facilities in the city to heat networks were also discussed.
