Assets of state-owned companies increased by 200% from 2020

Assets of joint stock companies and state-owned enterprises in Kyrgyzstan reached 463 billion KGS in 2024. This figure has increased by almost 200% since 2020, reflecting effective management of state assets.

Growth factors include increased dividends, improved management structure and cost optimisation. In 2024, the aggregate net profit of state-owned enterprises for the nine months totalled KGS 3 billion.

Revenues of state-owned enterprises during this period reached 20.5 billion soms, with total expenditures of 17.4 billion soms. In order to improve their material and technical base, a decision was made to exempt 50 per cent of net profits to the budget until 2027.

These measures contribute to strengthening the financial condition of state-owned companies and increasing their efficiency.
