The assets and capital of Kyrgyz enterprises grew 2.2 times over five years

The total value of assets and liabilities of enterprises in the real sector of the economy reached 2,665.7 billion KGS in 2024, increasing 2.2 times compared to 2020 — by 1,478 billion KGS. According to data from the National Statistics Committee, this growth was primarily due to an increase in current assets, which tripled over five years and now account for 60% of all assets.

Liabilities of enterprises over the same period increased 2.1 times and reached 1,664.7 billion KGS. The cost of equity increased 2.5 times to 1,001 billion KGS. Liabilities account for 62.4% of liabilities, and equity accounts for 37.6%.

In 2024 alone, enterprise assets grew by 25.7% (by 545.2 billion KGS), liabilities by 17.1% (by 243.5 billion KGS), and equity by 43.1% (by 301.7 billion KGS).
