Asman Airlines is exploring the possibility of purchasing COMAC aircraft

Asman Airlines and the Chinese company Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. (COMAC) are strengthening their cooperation in the field of civil aviation and exploring new promising areas for collaboration.

The parties have agreed to further develop their cooperation. One of the main areas of focus will be exploring the possibility of Asman Airlines acquiring modern C909 and C919 aircraft manufactured by COMAC.

COMAC will provide the airline with the necessary technical and commercial information regarding these aircraft.

The parties also plan to jointly assess the economic efficiency of operating the C909 and C919, taking into account Asman Airlines’ current and future route network.

An important part of the ongoing work will be cooperation on airworthiness issues. The parties intend to facilitate the process of validating COMAC aircraft type certificates in Kyrgyzstan in collaboration with the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In addition, representatives of Asman Airlines will have the opportunity to visit COMAC’s production facilities in Shanghai, familiarize themselves with the aircraft manufacturing process, and hold substantive discussions on future areas of cooperation.
