12/06/2025, 10:14Asman Airlines has announced the launch of direct regular flights on the Almaty-Karakol route. The first flight took place on December 5, according to the carrier's press service.
According to the company, the flight time is 35 minutes. Ticket prices start at 6,500 tenge ($75).
The resumption of flights between the two cities is the first in several decades. There has been no regular air service on this route since the 1970s.
The company notes that the opening of the route is intended to stimulate the development of tourist traffic to Issyk-Kul, as well as to facilitate business trips between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Tickets are sold through the official website and the Asman Airlines mobile application.
