02/25/2026, 17:59The Astransend payment system has resumed cash transfers in Russian rubles. This was reported on the official website of EcoIslamicBank.
According to the published information, from 19 February 2026, the bank's customers will once again be able to receive rouble transfers via the Astrasend system at any branch of the credit institution. The bank also offers the option of sending and receiving transfers in US dollars to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
At the time of publication, there is no separate announcement on the payment system's website about the resumption of rouble transactions.
Earlier, the Akchabar editorial office reported on the suspension of Astrasend transfers in Russian roubles in Kyrgyzstan from 1 January 2026. At that time, the system notified its partners of a temporary suspension of rouble transactions, while transfers in US dollars continued to be carried out as usual.
The suspension affected a significant segment of cross-border transfers, given the volume of settlements between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
