11/10/2025, 14:56From 5 December 2025, Asman Airlines will launch regular direct flights from Almaty to Karakol International Airport.
Flights will operate twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, departing at 11:35 and returning at 12:35.
The airline has specified that tickets will cost from 6,500 soms (approximately 39,000 tenge, or $75).
The resumption of this route is an important step in the development of regional transport: air links between Almaty and Karakol were previously operated in the 2010s, but there have been no regular flights since the 1970s.
The company has highlighted the key advantages of the route: direct flights mean fast and convenient travel, with a journey time of 35 minutes, and two weekly departures provide flexibility in planning your holiday.
The new flight is aimed at active holidaymakers, primarily travellers from Kazakhstan who choose Karakol as one of the most popular ski destinations in the region. Passengers can organise the entire flight process without visiting ticket offices or making phone calls. Tickets can be purchased on the company's website and app.
