10/15/2024, 10:22Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet Bakyt Torobaev visited the ‘Belaya Reka’ enterprise in the city of Kant and focused on the issue of milk purchase prices from farmers.
The Minister noted that the Ministry has developed a special pricing grid depending on the milk fat content, which should be introduced at each milk processing enterprise. This information should be communicated to farmers together with representatives of local authorities to ensure pricing transparency.
The ‘Belaya Reka’ enterprise processes and exports dairy products, producing bio kefir, cottage cheese, yoghurt, milk, sour cream and chalap. The plant employs 140 people and processes about 60 tonnes of milk a day.
