10/14/2024, 14:29According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry's press service, minister Bakyt Torobaev has conducted a field meeting on the expansion and resumption of activity of the ‘Tokmok-POSH’ enterprise on the processing of wool of RAFA and K in the city of Tokmok.
During the meeting, the Minister noted the importance of increasing the incomes of citizens who own livestock by increasing the value of realised leather and wool. He emphasised the need to build small industrial enterprises for processing wool in each district and to boost exports to foreign countries.
The enterprise occupies 9 hectares in the production zone of Tokmok. All technological equipment and engineering networks have been completely renovated, there is its steam boiler and laboratory. The factory capacity is 8 tonnes of wool washing per day, which is 2000 tonnes per year. The main types of wool processed are fine merino wool, apparatus wool, and thick and semi-thick wool. The enterprise also provides raw material processing services for Viva Tex company and private entrepreneurs from neighbouring countries.
Following the meeting, several decisions were taken to support the relevant departments of the ministry to enter into contracts with other manufacturing entities. This will help to provide for the enterprise's full capacity, production of products meeting market requirements, and uninterrupted production process.
