10/14/2025, 15:18The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan has issued interest-free loans to entrepreneurs for more than 9.43 billion KGS as part of the Emergency Support for Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises project, launched on March 31, 2025. The program is being implemented with the support of the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and is part of the anti-crisis plan of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As of October 1, 2025, 11,821 entrepreneurs received assistance, of which 9,630 in the first category received loans of up to 1 million KGS (for a total of 5.73 billion KGS), while 2,191 entrepreneurs in the second category received loans of up to 3 million KGS, totaling 3.7 billion KGS.
Loans are issued in KGS, at 0% per annum, for a term of up to 36 months with a grace period of up to 3 months. Entrepreneurs who have been working for at least 6 months and have an annual turnover of no more than 8 million KGS for the first category and up to 30 million KGS for the second category are eligible to participate.
Agriculture is not financed.
