11/01/2024, 10:05As of 31 October 2024, more than 10 thousand loans for over 4 billion KGS have been issued in Kyrgyzstan under the project ‘Financing of Agriculture-12’. The project aims to support the country's crop and livestock farming development. The Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture press service reports about it.
Under the category ‘Crop Production’ 1399 loans totalling 462.6 million KGS have been provided. Of these, 693 loans worth 224.5 million KGS were granted by OJSC ‘Aiyl Bank’, and 706 loans worth 238.2 million KGS were granted by OJSC ‘Eldik Bank’.
Within the category ‘Livestock’, lending was significantly more in demand: 9 thousand 67 loans for 3.7 billion KGS were issued. Of these, 4 thousand 444 loans totalling KGS 1.8 billion were granted by OJSC ‘Aiyl Bank’, and 4 thousand 623 loans totalling KGS 1.9 billion were given by OJSC ‘Eldik Bank’.
In total, 10 thousand 466 loans worth 4.2 billion KGS were granted in the two categories. The OJSC ‘Aiyl Bank’ share was 5 thousand 137 loans for KGS 2 billion, and OJSC ‘Eldik Bank’ - 5 thousand 329 loans for KGS 2.1 billion.
