    The most excise tax revenue comes from vodka

    For the period from January to November 2024, excise tax revenues totalled 17.3 billion KGS, of which 4.4 billion KGS came from goods produced or sold in Kyrgyzstan. A significant part of these funds are revenues from alcoholic beverages - 3.4 billion KGS.

    The largest revenues from alcoholic products came from vodka - 2.36 billion KGS. Also significant revenues were recorded from packaged beer - 723.7 million KGS. Additional revenues came from liqueur products, low-alcohol beverages, cognacs and sparkling wines.

    These data emphasise the importance of the alcohol industry for the economy of Kyrgyzstan and its contribution to the formation of state budget revenues.
