01/19/2025, 09:00For the period from January to November 2024, excise tax revenues totalled 17.3 billion KGS, of which 4.4 billion KGS came from goods produced or sold in Kyrgyzstan. A significant part of these funds are revenues from alcoholic beverages - 3.4 billion KGS.
The largest revenues from alcoholic products came from vodka - 2.36 billion KGS. Also significant revenues were recorded from packaged beer - 723.7 million KGS. Additional revenues came from liqueur products, low-alcohol beverages, cognacs and sparkling wines.
These data emphasise the importance of the alcohol industry for the economy of Kyrgyzstan and its contribution to the formation of state budget revenues.
