08/02/2026, 11:20Kyrgyzstan’s state budget for the period January–June 2026 was executed with a surplus of 58 billion 776.1 million KGS. This is according to the budget execution report.
A surplus means that, during the reporting period, budget revenue exceeded operating expenditure and net expenditure on the acquisition of non-financial assets.
In total, 440.5 billion KGS were received by the state budget over the six-month period. Operating expenditure amounted to 299.9 billion KGS. Consequently, current revenue exceeded expenditure by 140.6 billion KGS.
A further 81.9 billion KGS was accounted for by the net outflow of funds for investment in non-financial assets. After taking these into account, the budget surplus reached 58.8 billion KGS.
The national budget ended the first six months with a surplus of 47.5 billion KGS. The surplus of local budgets amounted to a further 11.3 billion KGS.
