Private kindergartens in the Leninsky district discussed voucher financing with the Bishkek mayor's office

A working meeting was held in Bishkek with the heads of private preschool educational organisations in the Leninsky district on the implementation of a voucher mechanism for financing preschool education.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the district municipal administration, the education department, the Digital Education Centre, as well as employees of social and territorial services.

Officials recalled that the pilot project aims to support children from socially vulnerable families, who will be able to attend private kindergartens using vouchers. It was emphasised that all private pre-school institutions in Bishkek are under the jurisdiction of district education departments and the Department of Education of the Mayor's Office.

Participants were explained the details of participation in the programme and the importance of timely interaction with the authorities. In response, kindergarten directors asked questions and received clarifications.
