Daiyrbek Orunbekov awarded with the CIS gold medal ‘Tree of Friendship’

The Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States awarded Daiyrbek Orunbekov, Head of the Information Policy Service of the KR Presidential Administration, with the gold medal ‘Tree of Friendship’ of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Interstate TV and Radio Company ‘Mir’.

Dmitry Kobitsky, Secretary General of the CIS IPA Council, and Radik Batyrshin, Chairman of the Interstate TV and Radio Company ‘Mir’, presented the gold medal in Moscow (Russian Federation) during the meeting of the members of the Board of Directors and the Interstate Coordination Council of the Interstate TV and Radio Company ‘Mir’.

Daiyrbek Orunbekov was honoured with the high award for his contribution to the formation of the information space of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The medal ‘Tree of Friendship’ was awarded for significant services in covering the activities of the CIS and strengthening interstate co-operation.

The Gold Medal ‘Tree of Friendship’ symbolizes the recognition of the important role of objective and timely information in the development of constructive dialogue and strengthening of allied ties within the Commonwealth.
