Representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and other EAEU and CIS countries attended the event. Among the speakers were Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev, and other leading economists and scientists.
In his speech, Daniyar Amangeldiev spoke in detail about the development strategy of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, emphasizing that this country's development plan is important for its sustainable economic growth. He noted that Kyrgyzstan has made significant progress in economic development, with a GDP growth of 6.9% in recent years. However, despite this progress, the Minister stressed the need for further structural reforms to increase productivity and diversify the economy.
The Minister emphasized the importance of introducing modern technologies, improving the business environment and supporting the private sector through investment attraction and technological modernization. One of the strategy's key objectives will be to increase GDP to $30 billion by 2030, which, the Minister said, will require doubling the current economic performance.
