    Daniyar Amankeldiev discussed prospects for cooperation with British Ambassador Nicholas Bouler

    First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to the Kyrgyz Republic, Nicholas Bouler.

    The meeting was devoted to discussing the results of Daniyar Amangeldiyev's working visit to London on 13-16 May 2025 and determining further directions for the development of Kyrgyz-British bilateral relations.

    Daniyar Amangeldiev expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Bowler for his assistance in organising the visit, emphasising its highly fruitful and important nature for strengthening the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom.

    Ambassador Bowler, in turn, congratulated Daniyar Amangeldiev on the successful issue of Eurobonds, noting that this is evidence of Kyrgyzstan's growing investment attractiveness for international investors.

    Particular attention was paid to issues of cooperation with the UK Export Finance (UKEF) (UK Export Finance). Daniyar Amangeldiyev stressed the need to make effective use of UKEF instruments to finance priority projects in Kyrgyzstan and instructed the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, together with the Ministry of Finance, to set up a working group within three days comprising representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies as well as leading companies to establish operational cooperation with UKEF.

    The parties also discussed the progress of the project on cooperation with Concrete Canvas on flexible concrete sheets.

    Considerable attention was paid to the prospects for deepening cooperation in the energy and agro-industrial sectors. Ambassador Bowler expressed the UK's readiness to actively cooperate with Kyrgyzstan in developing the agricultural sector and participating in energy projects in the republic.

    The parties confirmed their mutual commitment to continuing constructive dialogue aimed at further strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom.
