An MP reported the existence of “black money” and urged the National Bank to take measures

Today, December 4, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh MP Ruslanbek Zhakyshov drew attention to the problem of illegal money transfers from Russia, known as “black nal”.

According to the deputy, this scheme arose due to restrictions on money transfers from Russia.

“Some people offer transfer services: money is transferred to them in cash in the Russian Federation, and their representatives in Kyrgyzstan give the same amount to the sender's relatives,” Zhakyshov explained.

He noted that such operations often end in fraud, leaving citizens without money.

The MP called on the National Bank to take control of the situation. He also added that the abolition of existing restrictions on transfers could eliminate such schemes, reduce the number of deceived citizens and increase revenues to the state budget.
