10/10/2025, 12:45Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev visited the Enver Gareyev Botanical Garden. Following the inspection, it was determined that approximately 340 million soms are required for the complete and comprehensive reconstruction of the Botanical Garden.
The necessary work includes the restoration of paths, the improvement of pedestrian areas, the restoration and modernisation of irrigation, water supply and drainage systems, and the renewal and expansion of the dendrological fund with the addition of rare and endangered species and the creation of new exhibitions.
During the inspection, the head of the cabinet personally familiarised himself with the current state of the garden's territory and infrastructure.
The garden's staff and management provided detailed information on the work previously carried out, existing problems, and the urgent measures necessary to preserve, develop and modernise this unique green space in the capital.
Adylbek Kasymaliyev emphasised the importance of the Botanical Garden, noting that it is not only an important recreational area for the capital's residents, but also a key research base for the entire Kyrgyz Republic.
The head of the cabinet of ministers emphasised that the preservation and development of the Botanical Garden is not just an improvement of the urban area, but a strategic investment in the country's scientific potential and environmental safety. According to him, there should be more green public spaces in the capital, which contribute to the improvement of the urban ecology and the creation of a favourable microclimate.
Following the visit, Adylbek Kasymaliyev gave a number of instructions to the relevant state bodies, in particular, to work out the issue of financing the reconstruction work, taking into account the phased implementation of the project.
