Revenue to the Kyrgyz state budget rose by 46 per cent, exceeding 524 billion KGS

In the period from January to July 2026, Kyrgyzstan’s state budget revenue totalled 524.6 billion KGS. Compared with the same period last year, this represented an increase of 165.5 billion KGS, or 46.1 per cent.

In the first seven months of 2025, the state budget received 359 billion KGS. Thus, in nominal terms, budget revenue has almost one-and-a-half times over the course of the year.

Tax revenue rose from 235.2 billion KGS to 331.8 billion KGS. The increase amounted to 96.6 billion KGS, or 41.1 per cent.

Of this total, revenue collected by the State Tax Service reached 225.8 billion KGS. Over the year, this figure rose by 66.3 billion KGS, or 41.6 per cent.

The State Customs Service generated 105.9 billion KGS, compared with 75.7 billion KGS a year earlier. This represented an increase of 30.3 billion KGS, or 40 per cent.

However, tax revenue grew at a slightly slower rate than total budget revenue. As a result, its share of state budget revenue fell from 65.5 per cent to 63.2 per cent.

Revenue for the national budget for January–July reached 486.8 billion KGS, an increase of 49.8 per cent. Revenue for local budgets rose by 33.8 per cent – from 42.3 billion to 56.6 billion KGS.
