09/19/2026, 16:58As at 1 July 2026, the overdue receivables of Kyrgyz enterprises amounted to 5.57 billion KGS. The majority of this sum relates to domestic debt — 4.27 billion KGS.
According to the National Statistics Committee, a significant proportion of the overdue debts is attributable to the energy sector – 1.94 billion KGS – and the manufacturing sector – 1.36 billion KGS. A further 543 million KGS relates to wholesale and retail trade.
Meanwhile, 769.6 million KGS of overdue debt relates to countries outside the CIS.
The bulk of businesses’ overdue liabilities stems from domestic settlements between enterprises.
