11/15/2024, 16:42The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan published the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the KGS on November 16. According to the updated data, the som weakened against the U.S. dollar, euro and yuan.
In particular, the U.S. currency strengthened to 86.5 som. The euro also rose slightly, reaching 91.4262 soms per 1 euro against 91.0106 soms.
The Russian ruble weakened slightly to 0.8670 som per 1 ruble. The tenge also declined slightly to 0.1745 som per 1 tenge. The Chinese yuan rose slightly to 11.9694 som per 1 yuan.
We would like to add, “Akchabar” wrote that the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan once again intervened in the currency market, selling $68.65 million to stabilize the exchange rate of the som amid pressure from the dollar.
