Eurasian Development Bank Included in World’s Largest Database of Development Banks and Financing Institutions

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has been included in the world's first comprehensive Global Database of State Development Banks and Development Finance Institutions, created by the Institute of New Structural Economics at Peking University with the support of the French Development Agency (AFD).

To date, the database includes more than 540 organizations with total assets exceeding $23 trillion, which is about 10% of all annual global investments.

The EDB's inclusion recognized its role as one of the fastest growing multilateral banks. From 2018 to 2023, the Bank ranked in the top 10 in terms of asset growth and in the top 5 among banks managed by borrowing nations in terms of capital efficiency.

EDB Board Chairman Nikolay Podguzov emphasized that this recognition strengthens the Bank's position as one of the leaders in non-sovereign finance in Eurasia and confirms its strategic focus on sustainable growth and high-return investments.
