01/28/2025, 07:51The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has amended the passenger customs declaration for express cargoes, expanding the possibilities of its application.
“The previously existing restriction in the application of the declaration in respect of indivisible goods has been eliminated due to the current absence of such a concept in the law of the Eurasian Economic Union,” said Ruslan Davydov, Minister for Customs Cooperation of the EEC.
The approved amendments are also aimed at further unification of the procedure for declaring information in the declaration. In particular, information on the placement of goods for temporary storage will have to be indicated in all EAEU states, while now - so far - only in three countries of the Union.
The 2018 Decision of the EEC Collegium approved the form and procedure for completing a passenger customs declaration for express cargo, which is used for the customs declaration of goods for personal use transported by express carriers.
