09/26/2024, 14:30Within the Indonesia-EAEU Digital Dialogue organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Kira Danilcheva, Head of the Special Trade Regulatory Issues Division of the EEC Trade Policy Department, presented a report on the prospects for a free trade agreement between Indonesia, the EAEU and its member states.
Danilcheva emphasized that the future agreement would be an important step towards strengthening cooperation and cooperation ties between the business communities of our countries, especially in such areas as telecommunications, innovation, digital technologies and e-commerce. She also invited representatives of the business communities of the EAEU countries and Indonesia to participate in future joint initiatives.
The main goal of the dialogue was to establish links between digital companies to share solutions, technologies and expertise, as well as to explore new opportunities for cooperation.
The event brought together companies from Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia providing digital services and products in healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, tourism and logistics.
This dialogue has paved the way for deepening partnerships in the digital sphere, which can significantly enhance economic interaction between the participating countries.
