    EAEU Nations Exhibit Continued Positive Economic Growth Trends

    During the first nine months of 2024, the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) showed steady economic growth. Gross domestic product (GDP) growth was recorded in every country of the union.

    Armenia increased its GDP by 6%, Belarus showed a 4.5% growth, Kazakhstan added 4.1%, Kyrgyzstan achieved 8.4% growth and Russia increased its GDP by 4.2%. The overall EAEU GDP growth for the period was 4.2%.

    The main factors supporting the economic recovery in all countries include increased volumes in wholesale and retail trade, manufacturing and construction. In addition, Armenia's economy grew thanks to real estate transactions, Belarus and Kazakhstan showed growth in the agricultural sector, and Kyrgyzstan and Russia strengthened their positions in the financial and insurance sectors.

    The EEC expected an overall increase of 4.1 perocent in the Union's GDP at the end of 2024.
