05/09/2025, 10:00Kyrgyzstan increased exports of natural honey in the first quarter of 2025: in January-March, 68 tons of products were shipped abroad, which is 8.8 tons more than in the same period last year (59.2 tons). This is reported by the official data of customs statistics.
The increase in volumes is due to the expansion of the geography of supply and the growing demand for Kyrgyz honey from the countries of the Middle East and Central Asia.
The leader in terms of purchases is Kuwait, where 20.1 tons of honey was exported (for comparison, in January-March 2024 - only 7.9 tons). Exports to Qatar also increased significantly - from 2.9 to 5.2 tons.

Small volumes were also recorded in exports to Japan and Saudi Arabia.
At the same time, shipments to the USA (16.4 tons were sent there in 2024), Malaysia and the Republic of Korea completely stopped. Exports to the UAE decreased from 14.2 to 6.4 tons and to Japan from 2.6 to 0.4 tons.
