The euro fell in value, whilst the rouble rose: exchange rates as at 18 September

On 18 September, the National Bank set the official exchange rate for the US dollar at 87.45 KGS. It remained unchanged over the course of the day.

Among the major currencies, the euro fell the most — from 100.9086 to 100.3358 KGS. This represents a fall of approximately 0.57 per cent, or 0.5728 KGS.

The Russian rouble, by contrast, strengthened by 0.30 per cent – from 1.0357 to 1.0388 KGS. The Kazakh tenge rose by approximately 0.05 per cent, from 0.1966 to 0.1967 KGS.

The Chinese yuan fell by 0.006 per cent — from 13.0379 to 13.0371 KGS. Thus, on 18 September, the euro saw the most significant change, whilst the dollar remained at its previous level.
