Kyrgyz Financial Intelligence has saved 2.3 million KGS of budget funds

The budget of the State Financial Intelligence Service of Kyrgyzstan for 2024 has been updated and will amount to 75.4 million KGS. This is slightly more than the originally planned amount by 1.7 million KGS. The Ministry of Finance's data is evidence of this.

Although the overall budget has increased, expenditures from the main budgetary funds, on the contrary, have decreased.

Interestingly, the service's budget expenditures decreased by 2.3 million KGS.

"The savings have been achieved due to several factors, including more efficient public procurement and cost optimisation. In addition, part of the funds allocated for the increase in tariffs for public utilities were redirected," the document notes.

The increase in the overall budget is due to the receipt of an additional 4 million KGS to the special account of the service. The Ministry of Finance transferred this money. It will be relocated on the purchase of furniture, equipment and other necessary items.
