Entrepreneurship Development Fund to allocate 44 million KGS to support women's entrepreneurship

The Entrepreneurship Development Fund under the Ministry of Finance will allocate 44 million KGS to support women's entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan. Of this amount, 22 million KGS will come from the fund's own resources, and another 22 million will be allocated by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) through the Ministry of Finance.

Today, May 19, 2025, a tripartite agreement was signed between the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and the Entrepreneurship Development Fund on the transfer of ADB funds under the “Aym-Kömök” program.

The funding will be provided to women entrepreneurs in all seven regions of the country, except for the cities of Bishkek and Osh. The interest rate will be 12% per annum, with a maximum loan amount of KGS 3 million.
