Guarantee Fund Participates in Selection of Promising Business Projects

OJSC Guarantee Fund took part in an event held in the Chui region as part of the ZhashPro acceleration programme.

The programme aims to develop the entrepreneurial potential of women and young people, especially those from rural areas. Its main goal is to strengthen participants' knowledge in the areas of financial stability, investment readiness and effective interaction with financial institutions.

Abdil Tashirov, Head of Strategic Development, and Eldana Zhakupova, Head of Consulting Services and Financial Literacy at Guarantee Fund OJSC, gave a lecture on «Access to Financial Institutions and Mechanisms for Supporting Entrepreneurs».

The speakers talked about the possibilities of guarantee support, the advantages of cooperation with the Guarantee Fund, and the role of the institution in increasing the availability of financing for small and medium-sized businesses.

Based on the results of the business project pitching, seven winners will be selected from among 20 participants, who will receive grants of 350,000 KGS to develop their own businesses.

The Guarantee Fund will act as an expert partner, participating in the evaluation of projects based on criteria of financial stability and the prospects of business ideas.
