The State Security Committee returned property worth 641.4 million KGS to the state after 25 years.

After a quarter of a century, illegally privatized properties in Kaindy worth more than 640 million KGS have been returned to the state.

The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the return to state ownership of a kindergarten and a cultural center in the city of Kaindy, Panfilov District, Chui Region.

Verification measures established that back in 1999, these social facilities were illegally transferred to a private individual, citizen A.V.Sh., in violation of the law.
 

During the proceedings, the current owner acknowledged the fact of illegal privatization and voluntarily returned the property to the state, including land plots with an area of 1.25 hectares. The total estimated value of the returned property was 641 million 449 thousand KGS. It should be noted that, according to the State Committee for National Security, the total area of the facilities exceeds 2 hectares.
