    The head of the Cabinet took part in a UN conference on developing countries without access to the sea

    Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev took part in a meeting of participants in the UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. The event is being held in the Avaza tourist zone in Turkmenistan.

    The head of the Cabinet of Ministers was welcomed by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

    Adylbek Kasymaliyev then took part in a high-level meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.

    More than 100 delegations are participating in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which is being held from 5 to 8 August 2025.

    The UN Conference is being held under the theme «Achieving progress through partnership». It is attended by heads of state and government, as well as heads of delegations from 32 landlocked developing countries; heads of delegations from 47 small island states; representatives of international and regional organisations, financial institutions and civil society.
