The State Tax Service and banks discussed reducing the transaction tax to 0.1%

The State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan held a meeting with representatives of banks and the Union of Banks of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main topic was reducing the transaction tax rate and new requirements for its administration.

The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed with the banking sector the special tax regime ‘Transaction Tax’ and the official reduction of its rate from 0.2% to 0.1% in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 31 December 2025.

The tax authorities and banks also discussed the introduction of services for interaction and automation of transaction tax administration processes.
