02/13/2026, 16:42An agreement was signed in Bishkek between the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to provide a $50 million concessional loan to the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The funds will be used to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises implementing green and resource-saving projects. These are initiatives that reduce energy consumption and operating costs, introduce energy-efficient equipment, develop renewable energy sources, modernize production processes, and reduce negative environmental impacts.
The project is expected to increase investment in sustainable initiatives by small and medium-sized businesses, raise the technological level of enterprises, strengthen the competitiveness of domestic businesses, and create new jobs.
Earlier, Akchabar reported that Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev held a meeting with President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Zou Jia at the Yntymak Ordo state residence.
